Ferry House projects

As you can imagine at The Ferry House, always, always, there is some type of project that requires doing. The projects come in all types, small and fun, large and fun (these involve the use of heavy equipment and have been referred to as "testosterone" weekends), those that require the assistance of friends and neighbors, and those that are (barely) acomplished by ourselves. However, all of the projects involve a definite amount of fun!

Well, the project was a success. Not only did the crops get watered, but some of the participants did as well. There were some initial engineering decisions regarding the quantity of H2O required for the garden, it was decided (I think) that there will be additional irrigation work in the future, and flows can be taken into account at that time.

At The Ferry House, Vodge strikes again. The underground distribution system was, to say the least, convoluted. There were pipes that went nowhere, and pipes that had no beginning. The homeowner was left to figure it out as best as possible. Oh well, again more work in the future.

I'm pleased to say the the water distribution project has been completed, and it was a success. Not only is there water at the greenhouse, but a tap was installed for future expansion.
The Grill off is consuming time that otherwise might have gone to maintenance/projects around the house, but there are some on the horizion including modifying the chicken coop to handle the 18 new ones (now called the McNuggets). If allowed to mingle with the older and larger chickens, they would soon become victims of abuse and eventually, prey.
